Handmade Wooden Bookmarks

Bring a little bit of nature to your reading time with these handmade wooden bookmarks, featuring six different bird designs from my original artwork catalog. 

Each bookmark is made from wood with an image transfer of one of my mixed media art pieces. The edges are lightly sanded, and a twine tassel is assembled on each one, giving them a vintage look that fits the wood substrate perfectly.

The designs on all the bookmarks are prints of my original mixed media paintings, with minimal adjustments for the image to fit the bookmark's shape. The wildlife-inspired art I create comes to life by combining nature's gifts and everyday objects. By layering botanicals and found materials onto Japanese paper, I design unique textures that get integrated into my acrylic paintings. While striving to give a secondary purpose to items destined for the landfill, my goal is for my artwork to encourage and foster a connection between the viewer and nature.
