Gathering Light is Headwaters Arts first themed exhibit of 2026! Drop in for the Artists’ Reception on Saturday, January 10, 1 – 3 pm, in the Headwaters Arts Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre where you can meet the artists, enjoy some refreshments and shop to your hearts content.

Gathering Light features 14 artists who have created a unique collection of diverse works in a variety of mediums depicting “light”, with a focus on specific subject matter and the experience ones receives from light.

Come meet Katia and all the other exhibitors at the Artists Meet & Greet reception on November 22, from 1-3 pm at the gallery.

The Artful Giving Show & Sale runs from November 12, 2025 until January 4, 2025 in the Headwaters Arts Gallery.

The gallery is open Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m, and holiday Mondays and is located in the historic Alton Mill Arts Centre, 1402 Queen Street West, Alton, Ontario.

Orangeville Art Group is celebrating 70 years of art in the community with their 53rd annual art show and sale.

It is located in the Pond Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre from September 3 to 14, 2025, between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. This event is an ideal chance to explore unique artworks and support local artists. 

On September 6th, from 1pm to 5pm, you will have the privilege of meeting the exhibiting artists, enjoying complimentary refreshments, and purchasing  your favourite pieces.

The profound and powerful show of twenty-five works of art by 23 artists is proof that “the creative process requires chaos before form emerges”, Marilyn Ferguson. The creation process is often a journey, following a crooked path filled with obstacles, perhaps even of our own making. But through this chaos, our art emerges triumphant!
