Mixed media painting: Japanese paper collage and acrylic paint.
When hiking on the coast of Cinque Terre, Italy, we stumbled upon a patch of poppies. I had never seen them in the wild. The contrast their colour has against the green hills is absolutely striking, and that was the inspiration behind this poppy painting.
