Katia Ramdas is a Canadian artist who creates wildlife-inspired mixed media art, which comes to life by combining nature's gifts and everyday objects. By layering botanicals and found materials onto Washi and Kozo paper, she designs unique textures that she integrates into her acrylic paintings. While she strives to give a secondary purpose to items destined for the landfill, her goal is for her artwork to spark and foster a connection between the viewer and nature.
